14 November 1999.  Volcanologist John Seach (pictured) and cameraman Geoff Mackley flee from a
    violent strombolian explosion at Mt Etna's Bocca Nuova crater. This image was captured from a
                     TV camera which was retrieved intact after the explosion.
                         Many large lava bombs landed within metres of us.
